The pink vintage polka dot blouse hadn't been taken for a night out in a while, so I treated it last Friday when we went to a fabulous live show by a well-known UK illusionist/hypnotist (we've been sworn to secrecy about the show, so I can't talk about it!).
It's all those lovely jewel colours again - like in this post a couple of months back - and now I see them together, the River Island heels work so beautifully with the blouse. I think they were made for each other, don't you think?! And thank you to the 1980s for making poufy blouson-style tops in garish colours. I love them, but only after I've removed the shoulder pads.
See the bottom of the post for details on how to vote at the eleventh hour for me to win a major blogger award, won't you...? This'll be the last time I can post about it so you'll be safe after today!
Thank you my lovelies, and Happy Wednesday!

P.S. It sort of looks like I've cut all my hair off... I haven't. It's just a messy ponytail with lots of pins stuck in, without a blowdry, after it's been washed!

Whenever I find great vintage tops, the shoulder pads always get the boot. LOL. It's nice to have the 80s but without the big shoulders. :) I love that top and it looks so cute with the purple coat! <3

I love those shoes! The platform is too high for me, but .. ahh, I do love those shoes.

Catherine,
ReplyDeleteSo glad to be officially following along now. :)... I my absence, is it me, or do you look different? It has been a while... I am going to go with: your hair is darker and have you lost weight? Whatever it is, you look terrific as ever!
